I'm Helen. Welcome to my page.
I am a beautiful, pure white DSH female, with baby blue eyes. I was found when I was about 9 months old as a stray. I really don't remember much about that time. I was taken in by Animal Orphanage and then sent to my foster home to live with my foster mother, Martha. After almost 3 years, my new daddy, Brian, adopted me. I like my new home. All the faucets drip, so I can have fresh water when I want. (BTW: I made sure that daddy knew I wanted the faucets to drip by yowling for the first few nights. Just a hint...) More on the faucets: Daddy had the furnace ductwork fixed, so that hot air wasn't blowing into the crawl space anymore. Well, he made a MAJOR mistake. The guy that fixed the ducts rinsed his coffee cup out, and turned off the sink so that it didn't drip anymore. Daddy didn't notice, and left it off all night. That night, it got to about -2F outside; and without the hot air blowing into the crawlspace, the pipes froze. Now Daddy leaves all 3 sinks dripping for me. Cats ARE gods. Leave the sink dripping, or else I'll freeze your pipes! (BTW, I was nice, and wanted my dripping sinks, so I let the pipes thaw the following afternoon, and didn't break any of them.) Tommy and I are starting to play together. He pounced on me the other night, and it didn't bother me. We can't seem to synchronize our playtimes. I try to play with him, and he won't. Sometimes, he tries to play with me when I'm not in the mood. I think that we'll work it out soon! Oh, did I mention that I'm completely deaf? From what I understand from surfing the web, about 65% of white blue-eyed cats are born deaf. I don't let it slow me down! And daddy is teaching me sign language. Daddy is going to scan in a paw print so I can sign this page. IMPORTANT!! Daddy set up a forum for people to discuss their deaf cats, and our special needs! Please visit it!That's it for now.
