Mick Stine

A Rock Crawler Kammback!

Pictures of the conversion!

After the conversion, but still not done.

Check it out compared to my wife's 4by Explorer!

The rear is still in the works, and taller than I'd like, but look at all the front end stuff. Everything I did is in yellow.

Roof rack with fullsize spare, lights, shovel and high lift jack
Converted upright a/c compressor out of a Freightliner truck to an air compressor to air up tires and to run air tools

The car is used primarily for fun out in hills at the local off-road recreation area. It has suprised many other off-roaders with its go anywhere Jeep like abilities.

Future plans include Jeep Cherokee (XJ) axles, lift to accomodate 33" mud terrain tires, and traction control devices. The front axle will be scrapped to make way for the straight axle. Leaf springs will locate the alxe and Revolver Shackles will allow them to conform to the rocky trails.
