February 8th 2006 - I wanted to draw a girl in camouflage pants and so I did. I didn't really think much about rest of her design so I just gave her brassiere and spiky hair. But I'm really happy with this picture 'cause I think it's very good! I drew this one yesterday as well.
She's a character that's going to fight Sera some way. She's a good character so they're just fighting to see who's better gunner. I haven't really thought about her personality so I don't have much to say about it. Mayby she's brave and just but a bit naive. Her weapon's a huge gun which she calls Raging Storm.
Her hair was actually inspired by Ichigo's (the main character of Bleach) hair. That gun is based on storm bolter from Warhammer 40,000. Her gauntlet, pants, belt and the plaster over her nose were all inspired by a character named Inui (or something like that) from Rurouni Kenshin. He hasn't been up to much yet but I hope he doesn't turn out to be just a minor character 'cause I really like him.
I suppose that I gave her brassiere 'cause Kasumi (from Dead or Alive games) wears army helmet and similiar brassiere in a promotion picture of Dead or Alive Ultimate. While drawing her I wanted her to look like army girl and I thought about Kasumi, so that makes sense.
She's like salad, a mix of different ingredients that taste good together. Or not...
By the way, drawing and colouring her camouflage pants took me almost an hour. I hope I don't have to draw anything like them again!
