August 7th 2006 - Another new character. Compared to most of my characters, Mai looks a bit more normal. Her clothes are simple and something that could be sold at ordinary store. Still I think Mai is a good character. She has her trademark smile and a positive personality. A character I will hopefully draw many more times in the future.
"Mai is my own name with two letters removed. I like metal music a lot and this character represents it or something like that. I tried to make her hair similiar to Tamako-chan's but it doesn't look exactly like it. Mai clothes are similiar to my own preferences. Though my clothes don't have any pictures on them, but anyways... It took hour and a half to design this character which is a lot more than usual. Normally half an hour is enough!"
