August 7th 2005 - 5 Days to Rautanyrkki 5!
The beginning of the bi-annual finnish fighting game tournament & gathering Rautanyrkki 5 will begin next friday! Since it's held at the same time as Evolution 2005, Rautanyrkki 5 is also known as Arctic Revolution.
I've tried to train a lot to be better this year, but I haven't achieved much and I've mostly trained Capcom vs SNK 2. I've trained Tekken 5 a bit, but I'll have to spend the rest of my time with Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution and Guilty Gear X2 #Reload though all I need for those two is a little warm up.
My line-up for Rautanyrkki 5 is the following:
-GGX2#R: Bridget, Testament or Zappa. I might just go mad and use Zappa! At the moment I'm leaning to Bridget.
-T5: Marduk, because I haven't had time to play with anyone else...
-VF4E: Shun Di 'cause he's the only one I can play with...
-CVS2: Iori is certainly in my team then I'll put either Terry or Mai as the 2nd character and I'll use Joe as the Ratio 2 character.
-3S: Alex, but if I have enough time I'll learn to use Necro, Makoto or Yang. Doubt I'll get that time 'cause 3rd Strike tournament is friday evening and I can train only there...
-A3: I can't play this game well with anyone so I'll use Gen, Karin, Charlie and Zangief. Mayby I'll use Gen mainly...
-CFJ: Jedah along with Gief, Kenji or Alex. I'll probably use only Jedah but I'll have someone else as my team mate.
Once the tournament is over I'll put the results to 'Games'-section. Also after the tournament I'll start writing FAQs for various fighting games characters I use. I'll do that if I do well enough there 'cause there's no point to write a FAQ 'bout someone I can only lose with...
Characters I'm considering to write FAQs for include Iori (CVS2 version, can't play KOF with him.), Shun Di, Marduk, Testament, Zappa and Bridget.
