December 31st 2005 - Heading for Tomorrow
So the year 2005 is soon over. To me it hasn't been any special year. I've been playing fighting games, listening to new bands and reading new mangas, nothing exciting happened. Not that I was expecting anything to happen.
Still I'm gonna write a small recapitulation of the year 2005:
Best Album of the Year 2005:
Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys - The Legacy
It really surprised me since I wasn't expecting it to be very good, but it's friggin' awesome! Most albums of the year 2005 were pretty bad, but this one really rocks! Long live the pumpkins!
Best Game of the Year 2005:
Guilty Gear XX Slash
It's arcade game but so what? I've seen plenty of videos and it looks great. GG is my main fighting game so ofcourse I'm really looking forward to playing this game. I really love A.B.A!
Best Movie of the Year 2005:
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
A great movie! Really awesome computer animating! Besides that one there weren't any good new movies this year. King Kong sounds good, but I haven't seen it yet. Same goes for Narnia.
Other Memorable Events of the Year 2005:
- Iron Maiden came to Finland
- A new OVA anime of Hellsing is being made (I really love Hellsing!)
- King of Fighters XI (not the best game of the year but worthy of mentioning)
- The Gates to Dreamland Were Opened (who cares?)
- SAP went down (again, who cares?)
I guess that's pretty much all that happened the year 2005. Happy New Year to every one!
