June 16th 2006 - DREAMLAND 3.0
Celebrating the first anniversary of Dreamland, I decided to make a new design for this website. The new one is much more clear and user friendly. It might look simple but at least it load faster than the previous ones. This one is also very easy to edit so I can make new sections whenever I want to.
On to the concept of the design: While colours of the previous design were black and white I decided to do something lighter so I picked light blue for the main colour. It's a good colour and it feels somewhat dreamy colour to me. Thus it's fine for Dreamland.
And Shiki is gone. Both previous designs and one of SAP's designs have featured Shiki (and Haohmaru as well) but now they're both gone. I chose to feature Jo from Bakuretsu Tenshi in the logo of this site. That might make me look like a fan of that anime, but I haven't seen an episode of that anime. However I'm a fan of Ugetsu Hakua who's the character designer of Bakuretsu Tenshi. Of all his designs I've seen, Jo is my favourite. She's one of my favourite characters all together so I chose her.
The lyrics have alse been changed. Previous version featured only lyrics by Gamma Ray, but in this one all the lyrics are from different bands. I've taken lyrics from such bands as Queen, Guns N' Roses, Blind Guardian and Helloween. I've picked lyrics that sound cool though some of them describe me as a person.
There's two new sections - Guilty Fantasy and History. The first one is dedicated to my sprite comic. History is basically the old update list that's been made into a separate section. I renamed Unsorted to Misc and Writings to Lyrics to describe their contents better. Links section has been sorted out.
