~Kunimura's Look into the upcoming Fighting Games!~

At the moment there's a plenty of new fighting games coming out in Japan. Since I'm always excited 'bout new fighting games I decided to write down what I think of them so far. Right, let's begin!
Guilty Gear XX Slash
I feel kinda shamed. GG is my main game but I know next to nothing 'bout this game. What I know is that there's going to be lots of balance changes to old characters and new moves unlike in #Reload. If the new special that Testament gets is good or he's otherwise better, I'll play with him again. If not I'll stick to Jam or someone else.
I haven't played Isuka so A.B.A. is a new and interesting character to me. Same goes for Order Sol. Hope he's not overpowered like Robo Ky, whose going to be tuned down a lot. Still some Japanese people say that Order Sol is hard to use. I'll see that when I get to play it. If I ever do...
EDIT1: 'Kay, now I've seen some matches of XX/ and I'm very happy with the results! Zappa has gotten way better! I might start playing with hime again! I hope there'd be some Jam videos 'cause she's my main character at the moment.
Virtua Fighter 5
About time for Sega to make VF5! Without console version of Final Tuned my interest of VF died for a while. Now I'm really looking into this new game!
Of the old characters Shun Di is still my favourite. He's got cool eyebrows in the preview trailer! And I'm looking forward to try out that new female fighter.
Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection
A year ago I wouldn't give a damn. But things change and now I'm into Tekken series. From what I've understood there's going to be some gameplay and balance changes along with two new characters and lots of new stages.
Of the new characters Lili interests me the most. Her design is very boring but that can be changed with colours and items. What I like 'bout her is her moves. Dragunov's basically a throw-focused character. In the trailer four of his moves were shown and they were all throws or attacks that chain into throws. Figures... Though one of them might have been a throw like reversal. I'm gonna check him out aswell.
King of Fighters XI
This game has one of the weirdest KOF line-ups and teams ever! What's with Blue Mary, Vanessa and Ramon being a team!? Or even more Kasumi, Malin and Eiji from AOF2 and KOF95! What a comeback! Talking 'bout big comebacks there's other cool one's too. Such as B. Jenet, Kula and most of all Duck King! Not to mention that Athena will be wearing a school uniform... Sweet!
There's going to be similiar Tag Team gameplay as there was in KOF2003. Sounds cool, but I haven't ever tried KOF2003 so I dunno for sure. At the moment the team of my choice would be Terry, K' and Gato or Duck King.
Samurai Spirits Tenkaichi Kenkakuden
Marvellous! Every 2D Samurai Shodown character and plenty of more! A fan of the series couldn't ask for more. Except for Shiki since she's missing... But still, it's going to be a great game! Or atleast I wish it'll be...
Of the new characters Iroha interests me the most. She's not quite as pretty as Shiki but she's still mind-blowing awesome! Definitely in top 10 fighting game women in my books and I've only seen couple of pics of her and 'bout 3 sprites. I hope she has a cool personality. I'm definitely going to play with her if her moves are good. Of the old characters, I'll use Genjuro and possibly Nicotine and Wan-Fu.
Soul Calibur III
Not really looking forward to it, but I'll get it anyway. The option to make new characters and customise colours of the old ones seems interesting to me. Hope I can make some pretty girls with cool weapons. Something like Shiki. Of regular characters, I'll use Nightmare and Siegfried like always before.
Street Fighter Alpha 3: Double Upper
SFA3:U for PSP with Ingrid from CFJ. I'm not interested in handheld fighting games, but make a PS2 version and I'll buy it. 'Nuff said!
OK, guess that was it. I'll update this article if anything new and important comes up.
EDIT1: King of Fighter: Maximum Impact 2
Whoa! Looks great! I missed MI1, but Luise Mayrink, a new female character, looks so awesome that I gotta get this game. There's lot of older characters returning from MI1 and some from older KOFs like Kula and Billy. Looking forward to this game!
