B82 Holds Simultaneous Volt-Ins
June 11, 2005 in Manila, the East Coast (Belmar, New Jersey) and the West Coast (Fullerton, California)

by Nina Saldana

It was a day like no other. There were three simultaneous volt-ins--one in Manila, another in New Jersey and yet another one in California. Although the Manila group wasn't online that time (it was a small group that gathered in Ababu, Quezon City), some of the attendees went online hours after to join the East Coast and the West Coast groups.

The Manila Group was first to volt-in at Ababu Persian Kitchen, UP Village, Quezon City (courtesy of Ann Claire Asprec). It was a two-in-one affair where batchmates who weren't able to make it last May 21 had the chance to meet and welcome Paul Ancheta too. Find out how the event went.

Thanks to technology, the distance was no hindrance to the fun. The East Coast group, though just a handful, were a handful! Read about their experience.

The West Coast group was much bigger...and judging from the many times the webcam had no one in sight, I figured the food was so good they had to make that tough decision to either eat or chat. Obviously, FOOD takes over everything. Here's what the West Coast group had to say about their get-together.
